Since 2009, Charles River Media has worked with the renowned Hasty Pudding Theatricals. Hasty Pudding Theatricals (HPT) is the oldest theatrical group in the United States run by Harvard undergraduates. Every year, HPT presents a comedy skit showcasing their chosen Woman and Man of the Year. These celebrities receive the Hasty Pudding award and participate in a series of events throughout the day. 

For 2025, the Woman of the Year was Wicked‘s Cynthia Erivo, and the Man of the Year was Mad Men‘s Jon Hamm. CRMi provided multi-camera coverage of the celebrity roast and the press conference and then conducted interviews with the honorees. 

We also provided audio engineering services in the theater for the WOY roast and in the press conference room. This included sound reinforcement in the room and broadcast audio mixing to media outlets.

We captured Hamm cutting a ham and evoking Don Draper of Mad Men to sell useless objects to performers. Erivo performed her iconic Defying Gravity riff and entertained a surprise visit from the Blue Man Group. 

2025 was our 16th year of working with Hasty Pudding to support this entertaining tradition. We are grateful for our continued collaboration and look forward to supporting them in the years ahead!
